The climbers’ village is a two-building complex consisting of 11 apartments of different sizes varying from 30 m2 to 75 m2. The village includes a garden, a roof-top terrace as well as a bistro. It is located in the heart of the climbers’ paradise, in Massouri and offers a fantastic view over the sea and the nearby island of Telendos with its’ spectacular sunsets. All the apartments are available to purchase as private properties.
The main idea: Every buyer uses his apartment during a certain period of time (four weeks during the season). The rest of the season he allows the administrator to sublet it. In this way the climbers’ village also functions as a hotel. For the subletting the owner gets a profit sharing of 25% of the village’s net income. Out of season the buyer’s use of his property is possible at any time he wants.
It’s also possible to purchase an apartment, to be used solely by the owner, for a higher fee.
The apartments shall be ready for use in spring 2018. At the same time the climbers’ village shall start operating as a hotel business as well.
The architect Antonios Papamichail, who is responsible for the design and the construction of the climbers’ village, is the owner of a Kalymnos based architecture office. After his studies in Italy and different projects abroad he decided to return to his native country. He specializes in traditional Greek style and sets high value on the quality of the materials used. His vast experience and local connections are a big assistance.
All the apartments are available to purchase as private properties. Their sizes range between 30 m2 and 75 m2. It’s the owner’s decision if he uses it just for himself or if he allows the administrator to sublet it.
All the apartments offer style and comfort, in outstanding quality. Every property has its’ own bath, kitchen and balcony/terrace with a fantastic view over the neighborly island of Telendos with its’ unique sunsets. For the common use the climbers’ village offers a garden, a roof-top terrace and a bistro. The complex is built in the traditional Greek style.
The climbers’ village aspires to become the place to go to, the meeting point for climbers all over the world. It scores with its’ original concept: comfortable and stylish living in a well kept complex offering tasty, fresh and healthy food as well. The climbers’ village is the only business operated by climbers for climbers.
The bistro business will be established gradually. The climbers’ village may also expand to including different amenities like yoga, hiking tours or massages.
